Manufactured Flex RangePremi-Flex E-House
A mobile, modular prefabricated E-House — an affordable, customisable alternative to standard ISO container substations.
Premi-Flex E-Houses are designed and built to client-specific dimensions to house LV and MV switchgear, MCCs, VSDs and site facilities. Available as single or double E-House units for efficient transport and fast on-site assembly, engineered by PPE Technologies to SANS/IEC standards under an ISO quality management system.
Built around your siteA prefabricated E-House, built to fit
Premi-Flex provides a practical way to bring electrical infrastructure and supporting plant functions together within a purpose-built modular environment. Designed around the needs of the site, it creates a flexible foundation for equipment integration, installation planning and long-term operation.
Affordable alternative to ISO containers
A mobile, modular E-House built to your dimensions — a cost-effective alternative to standard ISO marine container substations, cutting transport, earthworks, civil and rigging costs.
Housing for any plant function
Designed for LV MCCs and substations, MV switchgear and VSDs, plus offices, accommodation, ablution, kitchen and refrigeration units.
Fast to transport and assemble
Single or double E-House configurations; the double unit ships as two container-equivalent modules and merges on site in two steps, with safety, cooling and structural integrity built in.
POWER INFRASTRUCTURE. READY TO GO.Premi-Flex — Containerised Power, Engineered Around Your Needs
Premi-Flex is PPE Technologies’ containerised E-House solution, designed to provide a flexible, efficient and practical approach to electrical power distribution and control.
Built around the specific requirements of each application, Premi-Flex combines electrical equipment, engineering and enclosure systems into a complete, transportable solution.
Typical project environmentsWhere Premi-Flex can be positioned
Premi-Flex is designed for projects where space, mobility and site conditions influence how infrastructure needs to be delivered. Its modular format allows the solution to adapt to different project settings, creating a practical way to bring essential plant functions together within a coordinated, purpose-built environment.

Electrical Equipment Terms Used in an E-House
Low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) are voltage classifications used to distinguish electrical equipment and distribution sections within a project. The applicable classification should be confirmed from the project requirements rather than inferred from the enclosure alone.
A Motor Control Centre (MCC) is an assembly arranged for the control and distribution of power to motors. A Variable Speed Drive (VSD) is electrical apparatus used to control the speed of a motor. The equipment list for an E-House may therefore contain different types of electrical apparatus and assemblies, each with a distinct role.
Supporting-Service Terms Explained
HVAC refers to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning functions. A pressurisation fan is an airflow provision intended to maintain a pressure relationship within a defined space. A cyclone or filtered fan is an air-handling provision that uses a cyclone or filter arrangement as part of the airflow path. The particular arrangement and technical requirements depend on the project specification.
A uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is an electrical-support provision intended to maintain continuity for designated loads during an interruption to the normal supply. Small power describes lower-power electrical outlets or services separate from the main distribution equipment. Fire suppression describes equipment or provisions intended to control or extinguish a fire within a defined area. Chromadeck insulation refers to the insulation provision named in the technical overview; its applicable construction details should be defined for the project.
