Gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear built on ABB’s ZX0.2 and ZX2 primary cores — manufactured under license from ABB Germany, with custom PPE Technologies low-voltage compartments.

A metal-enclosed, gas-insulated switchboard with a sealed-for-life primary compartment, a fixed-mounted ABB VD4X vacuum circuit breaker and a three-position disconnector (Connect / Disconnect / Earth). The dry, plug-in busbar system needs no on-site gas handling or bolting of bare copper. Single or double busbar, rated up to 40.5 kV and 3150 A. Manufactured under license from ABB Germany by PPE Technologies, an ABB Value Provider.

Sealed for life

The hermetically sealed, gas-insulated primary compartment (SF6 or AirPlus™) is maintenance-free for life, with IP65 gas tanks that shrug off humidity, dust and high altitude.

Dry plug-in busbars

A cast-resin plug-in busbar system couples panels without on-site gas handling or torque-wrenching bare copper; the floating contact tube absorbs thermal expansion natively.

ABB cores, PPE-engineered

ABB ZX0.2 / ZX2 primary modules with VD4X vacuum breakers, manufactured under license, paired with custom PPE low-voltage compartments and Relion® protection.

Specialized panel variants cover full primary distribution substation configurations. Suitable for indoor installation, and — thanks to the IP65 sealed gas tanks — for high-altitude sites and areas with extreme humidity or dust.

Feeder panels

Incoming & outgoing feeders with VD4X breakers and 3-position disconnectors; 600/800/840 mm widths up to 3150 A, plus ultra-compact double-feeder panels for space-critical 24 kV networks.

Cable termination & metering

Direct cable-to-busbar termination panels with a 3-position disconnector, and dedicated or integrated (top-mounted) VT/sensor metering.

Bus-tie & coupler panels

Busbar sectionaliser (single- or two-panel) and bus-coupler panels for seamless load transfer in double-busbar lineups.

Bus riser panels

Elevate conductors across busbar levels, working alongside sectionaliser or coupler panels.
